Microemulsion is a thermodynamically drug delivery system which favors faster drug penetration in skin layers. Many drugs prescribed for skin diseases have limited transport across skin which hinders its success. Our developed vesicular systems impart lipophilicity to drug and tiny spherical architecture shape allows fasted drug penetration. This is also important for drug retention in deeper layers of skin which are a route of many diseases (Psoriasis, Leucoderma, etc).
